Legacy Bend

This 320 acre lot is a master-planned development featuring residential, multi-family, retail, and office areas. It is located between Cumberland Road and Hollytree Country Club, one mile from both South Broadway Avenue and Old Jacksonville Highway. The development is connected to well-established Tyler neighborhoods Hollytree and Oak Hollow on the west side of Mud Creek and Prestonwood on the east side of Mud Creek. It is zoned for Tyler ISD; 1 mile from Jack Elementary School, 2.5 miles from Three Lakes Middle School, and 4.5 miles from Tyler Legacy High School. Residential developments will mirror the overall quality of the adjacent developments.

As a part of this development, Genecov and a fellow land owner extended Hollytree Drive and connected it to West Cumberland Road via Maple Lane. This connection has greatly improved access to emergency services, Faulkner Park and Cumberland Village Shopping Center. Access to the new Fire Station (when construction is complete), the police station, and Christus Mother Frances Hospital – South Tyler will all decrease from eight minutes (approximately) to three minutes, and access to Faulkner Park and Cumberland Village Shopping Center will decrease from ten minutes to three and four minutes, respectively.

In addition, Genecov donated some of the land for the construction of West Cumberland Road and has granted sidewalk easements to the City of Tyler for the construction of Legacy Trail (a walking and biking path that connects to Oak Hollow). Genecov is currently in the early stages of working with a non-profit to plant flowers and install benches along the side of Legacy Trail in this development.

Genecov has also granted multiple sewer and water easements to the developers of Oak Hollow and the City of Tyler to provide for the orderly development of the Hollytree/Oak Hollow development area.

Lastly, Genecov has hosted separate HOA meetings for the residents of Hollytree, Oak Hollow and Prestonwood to get their feedback on this development. After receiving some great suggestions, Genecov has worked with the residents to come to better solutions. Genecov is excited about this development and all that it will have to offer its residents!
